I selected all Network Domains and checked the Perform Thorough Search box, but I'm still missing some machines in the list?

By selecting File -> Additional Machines, you can add additional machines that Deadline Configuration may have missed when gathering the list of machines on your network. You can specify either an ip address or host name. These additional machines are maintained between sessions, so you only have to do this once.

Some machines that I know have Deadline installed on them are showing no response under the Launcher Version column header.

There are two common reasons for this:

1. The Deadline Launcher application is not running on the slave machine. To fix this, go to the machine and start Deadline Launcher from the Start menu, or from c:\deadline\bin.

2. Remote Administration has been disabled on your farm. To enable it, open the Deadline Monitor and enter Super User mode. Then select Tools -> Configure Repository Options and then select the Remote Administration option from the list on the left, and enable it. If it's disabled, the Launcher won't respond to remote commands, which includes sending information back to the Configuration tool.
