Windows Shell Context Menu

You can use the Deadline Windows Shell Context Menu to submit files to Deadline simply by right-clicking on them in Windows Explorer and selecting the menu item with the icon. This launches the same submission script you would see if you were to submit the job from the Deadline Monitor.

The menu item that is shown in the context menu is based on the filename extension of the file selected. If there are multiple scripts configured for the same filename extension, a sub-menu will list the possible options.

By default, basically every submission script you can run from the Submit menu in the Deadline Monitor is already configured to work with the appropriate filename extensions, but you can configure which scripts should be executed for specific filename extensions from the Deadline Monitor by selecting Tools -> Options.
