The Limit Groups List
This list shows all the limit groups that are in your Deadline repository. It also displays useful information about each limit group such as it's name, limit, in use count, and blacklisted slaves. You can customize what info is displayed by right-clicking on the column headers and using drag & drop to change their order. More information on limit groups and how they affect job scheduling can be found here.

You can access many options for the limit groups, which are listed below by right-clicking on them. Note that the following options are only available when in super user mode, with the exception of refreshing the list.
Refresh All Limit Groups
Refreshes all the limit groups in the list.
New Limit Group
Allows you to add a new limit group to your Deadline Repository.
You can modify the following settings for the new limit group:
- Name: the name of the new limit group.
- Limit: the number of slaves that can use this limit group at one time.
- Release At Task Progress: if enabled, you can have a slave release the limit group when the current task it's rendering reaches the specified progress. Note that not all plug-ins report task progress.
- Whitelisted/Blacklisted Slaves: if slaves are on a blacklist, they will never try to render jobs submitted to the limit group. If slaves are on a whitelist, only those slaves will try to render jobs submitted to the limit group.
- Slaves To Ignore: these slaves will ignore this limit group when searching for a job. This is useful if you are juggling floating and node locked licenses, in which case your machines with node locked licenses should be placed on the excluded list.

You can modify the following options for the existing limit group:

- Whitelisted/Blacklisted Slaves: if slaves are on a blacklist, they will never try to render jobs submitted to the limit group. If slaves are on a whitelist, only those slaves will try to render jobs submitted to the limit group.
