Renderman (RIB) FAQ
Which RIB renderes are supported by Deadline?
The following renders are supported:
- 3Delight
- Air
- Aqsis
- BMRT
- Entropy
- Pixie
- PRMan
- RenderDotC
- RenderPipe*
If you use a RIB renderer that is not on this list, please email us at deadline-support@franticfilms.com and let us know.
While the RenderPipe RIB render is supported, it has not been tested as of yet. If you have successfully rendered with RenderPipe using Deadline, please let us know.
In the repository plugins folder, there are two RIB plugins: BasicRIB and RIB.
The BasicRIB plugin is the deprecated version of the RIB plugin, and can be deleted from the plugins folder providing that no active jobs in the repository require it.
