General Flow

  • Blue: Krakatoa Elements

  • Green: 3ds Max Particle Sources - these sources provide particles to Krakatoa for rendering and saving, without a return path for the particles.

  • Turquoise: Particle Flow - PFlow has a special place in the pipeline as it can be used both as a particle source and also read back particles saved to file sequences.
  • Gray: 3ds Max Modifiers and Objects - these can be used to modify particles loaded from disk using the Particle Loader before the particles are rendered or saved to a new particle sequence
  • Orange: Krakatoa Image outputs. They can be used as inputs for 2D compositing and 3D rendering in other renderers.
